England started to ease the lockdown by allowing going out in a pub, going to the hairdresser, or to a restaurant. The United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated all citizens should act responsibly so the second wave of the COVID-19 doesn't happen.

Johnson stressed that "the success of these businesses, the livelihoods of those who rely on them, and ultimately the economic health of the whole country is dependent on every single one of us acting responsibly. We must not let them down."

Police also confirmed they were "absolutely prepared" for the reopening. According to the last information, the overall number of infected people in the country stands at 284,276 while the death toll reached 44,131.
