Hirscher wins gold as Austrians dominate slalom

Austria's Marcel Hirscher won the gold in men's slalom at the Alpine skiing world championships in Are, Sweden, on Sunday.

Hirscher skied the two runs in a combined time of 2:05.86 to secure Austria's only gold of the championships.

His compatriots Michael Matt and Marco Schwarz came in second and third, respectively, giving Austria a clean sweep in the discipline.
