Aramco, Google to bring cloud services to Saudi Arabia

Saudi Aramco Development Co., a subsidiary of the oil giant, announced on Monday it has reached an agreement with Google LLC to provide its cloud services to customers in the Middle Eastern country.

Aramco said that Google will establish and operate the service, while a new company will be formed "following all required regulatory clearances to supply cloud solutions and services" to customers.

Saudi Arabia will be added to the global network of Google Cloud Platform regions, the company stated.
