Public disclosure of inside information according to article 17 MAR

Mannheim (pta035/02.12.2020/14:05) - The Executive and Supervisory Boards of MVV Energie AG (ISIN: DE000A0H52F5; WKN: A0H52F) will propose to the company's Annual General Meeting that the dividend should be increased by Euro 0.05 to Euro 0.95 per share. The Mannheim energy company exceeded its previous forecast in the past 2020 financial year (1 October 2019 - 30 September 2020). Based on a moderate reduction in sales, the annual results show adjusted operating earnings (adjusted EBIT) of Euro 233 million. MVV most recently expected adjusted EBIT at the previous year's level (Euro 225 million). The company attributes this earnings growth in particular to the positive performance of the investments made in recent years within its sustainability-driven corporate strategy. MVV will present its full set of results at this year's Annual Results Press Conference, which will be held on 10 December 2020.
