Europe turns to losses amid COVID-19 concerns

The stocks on the major European markets traded lower on Friday after starting the session in the green. Despite mostly positive June PMI data coming from the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Eurozone, fears of the coronavirus' second wave remained in investors' focus.

The DAX declined 0.41% at 11:50 am CET, while the FTSE 100 fell 0.97%. At the same time in Paris, the CAC 40 lost 0.70%.

The euro slid 0.09% against the dollar, selling at $1.12304 at 11:51 am CET.
