Nokia Corp. announced on Monday the company has agreed to a €400 million deal with Taiwan Mobile on developing the 5G network within the island.

Nokia, and its competitive business Ericsson, have won most of the 5G contracts in Taiwan. On the other hand, the Finnish telecom giant was not successful in China-based arrangements, as besides Ericsson, Chinese Huawei and ZTE stand as top vendors in the Asian country.

Last week, the two Scandinavian firms were also picked to establish their 5G technology in Singapore.
