AT&T Inc. holding talks on selling the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the video game division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, CNBC reported on Friday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the discussions.

The report claims that Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., Electronic Arts Inc. and Activision Blizzard Inc. are all interested in the acquisition, that could end up standing at $4 billion. However, the insiders noted that there is currently no deal in place with any of the companies.

The gaming unit is probably best known for publishing Batman: Arkham, Mortal Kombat, and Scribblenauts series and games based on Warner Bros.-owned films and animations, DC Comics' works, Lego toys, J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth and Harry Potter.
