Wall Street falls premarket, further extending losses

Shares on Wall Street dropped in the premarket on Thursday following President Donald Trump's statement in which he blamed the Democratic Party for creating panic that led to the market losses. At the same time, Trump criticized the Federal Reserve for strengthening the dollar. Meanwhile, the country's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention registered the first coronavirus case of unknown origin, hinting on the potential nationwide beginning of the outbreak.

The Dow Jones fell 0.41% at 4:36 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 declined 0.60% at the same time. The S&P 500 lost 0.56% a minute later.

The euro traded 0.47% higher against the greenback, changing hands for $1.09348 at 4:37 am ET.
