Wall Street ends week on record highs

Shares on major United States stock indices ended Friday's session in the green, reaching all-time highs and extending gains on the optimism following the landmark US-China trade deal. All three main indices on Wall Street were also boosted by yesterday's Senate approval of a new North American free-trade deal and today's news that United States President Donald Trump will sign the USMCA trade agreement "asap."

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index was up 0.17% at 4:00 pm ET, with Visa Inc. emerging as the best performer on the index, rising 1.87%, while the Nasdaq 100 increased 0.53% with Qualcomm leading the gains, surging 4.49%. The S&P 500 advanced 0.38% as the session drew to a close.

The euro declined against the dollar, going for 1,10928 at 4:25 pm ET.
