Nasdaq jumps 1% as Tesla hits record

The Nasdaq 100 jumped on Monday after electric carmaker Tesla hit a new record of $519, surging over 8%. The tech-heavy index was up 0.93% at 1:47 pm ET. Tesla shares surged 8.01% at the same time.

One of the best performers was Lululemon, who raised its fourth-quarter fiscal 2019 revenue forecast, putting it between $1.37 billion and $1.38 billion. The athleisure retailer jumped by 3.80% at 1:43 pm ET. The second-best performer was semiconductor company Skyworks Solutions which added 3.91 at the same time.

The S&P 500 went up by 0.47% at 1:45 pm ET.
