Google launches Stadia with 10 extra games

Google LLC launched on Tuesday its new game streaming service Stadia that enables its users to play games on a number of platforms such as computers, phones, tablets and TVs. Google also announced a ten games extra that will be available to play from Tuesday, bringing the total number to 22. The lineup includes titles as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mortal Kombat 11.

However, the company said that not everyone who pre-ordered Stadia will get to play immediately as it will be launched over the next two weeks. At the launch, Stadia will only be available in 14 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and some European countries.

A Stadia starter package consists of Google Chromecast digital media player, a controller and three months of the Stadia service at a cost of $129.99, with the controller alone costing $69.
