Shares on Wall Street fell in premarket trade on Thursday amid the news that China is again showing some uncertainty to commit to a specific quantity of agricultural products that it has to buy from the United States. Earlier in the day, the Chinese Commerce Ministry stated the country is still in negotiations with the US and the ministry's spokesman Gao Feng told media that any potential deal will have to include the dropping of some tariffs on each other's products.

Also, the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics stated that the country’s retail sales rose by 7.2% on an annual basis in October but hasn’t succeeded in meeting the goals previously predicted.

The Dow Jones fell 0.09% points at 4:31 am ET, while the S&P 500 decreased by 0.08%. The Nasdaq 100 went down 0.15% at the same time. The euro fell 0.10% against the dollar, buying 1.09988.
