Asian stocks higher on renewed trade optimism

Major stock markets in the Asia-Pacific traded in the green on Friday rallied by the news that the United States-China trade negotiations were set to continue in October. Chinese Vice Premier and chief trade negotiator Liu He warned about the downward pressure the country was facing.

The Japanese Nikkei 225 rose 0.51% at 3:57 am CET. The US dollar grew 0.10% against the yen, changing hands for ¥107.0445 at 3:57 am CET.

The Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 0.83% at 3:59 am CET, while the Shanghai Composite and Shenzhen Composite indices jumped 0.18% and 0.28%, respectively, at the same time.

Over in South Korea, the Kospi Composite rose 0.23% at 3:39 am CET. Meanwhile, the Australian S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.48% at 3:59 am CET.
