Asian markets trade higher after Fed's rate decision

Asian markets traded higher on Thursday after the United States Federal Reserve announced it will keep the interest rates unchanged and ahead of the Bank of Japan's monetary policy statement. Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry will release its own data on industrial production later during the session. Yesterday, it was reported that Japanese exports dropped 7.8% in May year-over-year.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng index soared 4.36% at 4:15 am CET, while the Shanghai Composite rose 0.67%% at the same time. Concurrently, Shenzhen Composite also went up by 0.77%

South Korean Kospi Composite traded 0.1% higher at 4:00 am CET, while Australia's S&P/ASX 200 increased by 0.41% at 4:19 am CET.

Japanese Nikkei 225 jumped 1.19% at 4:20 am CET. At the same time, the US dollar traded 0.31% lower against the yen, to go for 107.7590.
