Wall Street extends losses premarket, Dow down 200 pts

United States stocks continued to trade in the red during the premarket trade on Wall Street on Friday amid the ongoing trade tensions between Washington and Beijing. Earlier today, Chinese state media slammed Washington for its "petty tricks" and the lack of sincerity during trade talks while also responding to its decision to blacklist Huawei.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index lost around 200 points, declining 0.78% the S&P 500 fell 0.76% while the Nasdaq 100 dropped 0.88% at 8:06 am ET.

The euro traded 0.09% lower against the US dollar at 1.1169 at 8:08 am ET.
