Europe set to open lower

Markets in Europe are set for a lower start on Thursday as investors await the Bank of England decision on interest rates later in the day.

Just under an hour before trade starts, the DAX futures decreased 0.26%. The Euro Stoxx futures were 0.20%, while the FTSE futures fell 0.27%. The CAC 40 is expected to trade 0.41% lower when markets open.

After falling sharply yesterday, oil prices recorded slight gains in early trade on Thursday. Brent for November delivery rose 0.59% to go for $46.13 per barrel at 8:06 a.m. CET. WTI for October delivery increased 0.34% to sell for $43.74 per barrel at 8:07 a.m. CET.
