The United States courts of appeals set on Wednesday to rush a Justice Department appeal of a ruling blocking the government from disabling new TikTok downloads from US app stores.

A preliminary injunction was issued by District Judge Carl Nichols on September 27 ban of the US Commerce Department who ordered Apple Inc and Alphabet Inc’s Google app stores to remove the TikTok app for download by new users.

A US appeals court in Washington said all briefs have to be made by November 12 with oral arguments to follow.
