Europe mostly lower in premarket trading

Shares on major European markets were mostly lower in premarket trading on Thursday after posting sharp gains in the previous session.

Earlier this week, data from the UK revealed the country has officially entered a recession for the first time in 11 years after its GDP tumbled 20.4%. Meanwhile, investors digested corporate earnings from Deutsche Telekom, RWE, and ThyssenKrupp.

The DAX was flat at 7:50 am CET, while the CAC 40 and the FTSE 100 lost 0.20% and 0.91% respectively.
