The founder of EasyJet Stelios Haji-Ioannou sold the low cost-airline company's stakes worth £13 million amid a dispute with its board, it was reported on Friday.

According to Sky News, Haji-Ioannou made the decision to lower his stakes down to under 33% due to the conflict with the rest of the management over an order from Airbus worth £4.5 billion, which he demanded it was abandoned.

Board directors Andy Martin and Charles Gurassa, as well as the firm's chief financial officer (CFO) Andrew Findlay, were all previously confirmed to leave their posts in the near future.
