Turkish Airlines to restart international flights on June 18

Turkish Airlines is set to restart international flights from June 18 following service suspension over the coronavirus outbreak, the company's spokesman Yahya Ustun said in a statement on Tuesday.

"From Basel to Gaziantep, from Frankfurt to Elazig. As of 18 June, we will start flying directly from 16 cities in Europe to 14 points in Anatolia. As the flag bearer, we will shorten the road of the country a little more and bring our guests to their loved ones in a shorter time," Ustun posted on Twitter.

Last week, the largest Turkish commercial carrier hinted it could postpone the delivery of some Boeing and Airbus planes as the pandemic stifled demand across the aviation industry.
