Dow up 150 pts premarket as hopes of recovery grow

Stocks in the United States traded higher in the premarket on Wednesday on growing hopes of the country's fast economic recovery. Commenting on the situation, White House economic advisers Larry Kudlow and Kevin Hassett asserted the US economy will bounce back as the reopening continues. Meanwhile, pharma company Roche announced it has begun coronavirus antibody testing in the US.

The Dow jumped 0.69% or 167 points at 4:10 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 concurrently gained 0.62%. At the same time, the S&P 500 climbed 0.61%.

The euro stood 0.16% higher against the dollar to sell for $1.09407 at 4:11 am ET.
