European stocks lower premarket on COVID-19

Equities on major European stock markets traded lower premarket on Monday as the coronavirus crisis continues. Airbus SE announced it was withdrawing its guidance for 2020 due to the pandemic-caused volatility.

The FTSE 100 dropped 5.64% at 7:28 am CET, while the DAX lost 4.92%. The CAC 40 was down 5.12%.

The euro was 0.63% higher than the greenback at 7:2 am CET to change hands for 1.07680, while the pound rose 0.34% to sell for 1.17042 dollars a minute later.
