Airbus sells 12 A320neos to easyJet

Airbus SE sold 12 more planes of the A320neo model to British low-cost carrier easyJet Airline Co. Ltd., the aircraft manufacturer announced on Tuesday at the Dubai Airshow.

EasyJet said in its earnings report that the value of the purchase is $1.37 billion, but noted that "the actual cost of the aircraft is subject to a substantial discount from the list price."

On Monday, Airbus secured orders from Emirates and the new low-cost carrier Air Arabia for its A320neos and A350s, valued at around $30 billion in total.
