AirAsia announces profit sharing deal with AirAsia X

Malaysian low-cost airline company AirAsia Group Bhd announced on Monday it entered into a Profit Sharing Agreement with AirAsia X Berhad regarding the transfer of two of its existing daily slots of its Kuala Lumpur - Singapore route.

The two daily return flights will have AirAsia X station its Airbus SE A330s for more working hours. Also, it will enable better connections with China, India, Japan and Korea since there will be widebodies included. As per the agreement, AirAsia X will share 50% of the net operating profit of the route with the group on a monthly basis.
