US shares move slightly higher in premarket

Shares on Wall Street moved mostly into positive territory in premarket trade on Tuesday, posting slight gains following the release of the latest batch of corporate earnings.

Procter & Gamble released better-than-expected earnings with sales increasing 7% year-over-year. Meanwhile, shares of Biogen surged nearly 40% in premarket trade after the biotech company beat earnings estimates as well.

At 8:00 am ET, the Dow Jones was flat, the S&P 500 gained 0.12%, while the Nasdaq 100 rose 0.30%. Meanwhile, the euro declined 0.10% against the dollar, buying 1.11386.
