United States tech giant Google Inc. suspended business with Chinese company Huawei and cut it off from its services after the US blacklisted the firm, The Verge reported citing a source familiar with the matter. According to the report, Huawei is cut off from Google apps and services and restricted only to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

Earlier this week, the US Department of Commerce put the Chinese tech giant and its 70 affiliates on a trade blacklist after US intelligence agencies accused Huawei of spying on behalf of Beijing. The crackdown on Chinese technology companies came after US President Donald Trump declared a national emergency in order to protect US information and communications technology and services from foreign espionage.
