Asian markets mixed after UK vote, Huawei report

Asian markets traded mostly in the green on Thursday ahead of the Bank of Japan governor's speech, as market watchers followed the situation in the UK after the government no-confidence vote. Investors also kept an eye on US companies' quarterly earnings reports and the reports that US prosecutors are probing the Chinese tech giant Huawei for alleged theft of trade secrets from its American partners.

Japanese Nikkei 225 traded 0.13% lower at 4:09 am CET. The dollar was 0.04% lower against the yen, to go for 108.9830 at 4:11 am CET.

China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.08% at 4:12 am CET while Shenzhen Composite traded 0.34% in the red at the same time.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng traded 0.11% in the green at 4:09 am CET. South Korean Kospi Composite was up 0.10% at 4:10 am CET.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 went up 0.14% at 4:10 am CET.
