Precious metals in the green, palladium hits record high

Precious metals traded in the green on Monday with palladium jumping to a record high of $1,314.05 per ounce. The metal used to convert toxic gases in cars to less harmful substances rallied over 37% in the past six months.

Palladium surged 1.99% to $1,312.66 per ounce at 10:44 am CET. Meanwhile, gold gained 1.51% to 1,291.30 per ounce at 10:45 am CET, while silver added 0.61% to $15.78 at the same time. Platinum climbed 1.05% to $830.22 per ounce at 10:46 am CET.
