Scout24 considers sale, valued at €5B - report

German online company Scout24 is considering a sale, three years after it received a public listing, the Financial Times reported.

The company hired advisers to help with a potential sale that insiders warn is not certain it would happen. A number of private companies are interested in buying the company specialized in the real estate and automotive sectors, and the US technology group Silver Lake is considered one of the most serious bidders.

According to the report, the Munich-based company is valued at €5 billion.
