Tuesday, 14. January 2003 13:39

Only via listing on the Prime Standard is it possible to be admitted
to the newly created index system of Deutsche Börse. The share of
Novasoft AG will most likely be assigned to the technology sector
index. According to Deutsche Börse, the decision on the definitive
classification will be taken in February 2003.

"We hope that the German finance market will regain its
attractiveness for investors as a result of the new segmentation and
the introduction of the sector indices. For us, the move into the
Prime Standard means the renewal of our promise to fulfil the
international transparency requirements", said Wolfgang Bläsi, IR
Manager at Novasoft AG, commenting on the admission to the new
premium segment.

In total, 19,527,648 shares of Novasoft AG are listed on the Prime
Standard. The number of shares corresponds to the level of the share
capital. This was increased by the acquisition of shares in the
branches in England and Singapore in May 2002 by 1,310,748 Euro to
19,527,648 Euro. The shares from the increase in share capital will
probably be admitted to trading as of 15 January 2003.
